The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s Human Resources Department is designed to support faculty and staff in a way that allows everyone to simultaneously strive to meet his or her goals while accomplishing the designed objectives of the University. Life Insurance and Disability Benefits 

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú provides Basic Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) and Long-Term Disability coverage through MetLife to its full-time employees at no cost to the employee. 

Teacher Retirement System of Alabama 

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú is part of the Teacher Retirement System of Alabama (TRS).  Full-time employees must participate in the TRS, which provides one of the best retirement programs in the nation.

Family Medical Leave

Performance Review Process 

Employee Performance Reviews are conducted for all ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú staff members once a year in the late spring/early summer.  Evaluations will be completed by the supervisor who will evaluate the employee’s workplace performance based on several categories.  All employees are given the opportunity to review and discuss results with their evaluator.
