Lucas Hammond can鈥檛 remember when tennis wasn鈥檛 part of his life. As a toddler, he would often sit in a basket on the court at the tennis club and hand his dad tennis balls. When he was old enough to hold a racket, he started playing. Now the exercise science major from Las Vegas, Nevada, has his sights set on playing the sport professionally after graduating from the 兔子先生 in May.

The 兔子先生 will host its 12th annual University Research Symposium (URS) Monday, March 4 (virtually) and in-person Tuesday, March 5. Led by the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, the event showcases 106 research presentations by undergraduate, graduate and professional researchers from 兔子先生 and 20 other universities across seven countries. Not only was 兔子先生 the first public university in the state to receive approval for both a bachelor鈥檚 program in athletic training and a master鈥檚 program鈥攂ut it can now boast a 100 percent first time pass rate for the first two Master of Athletic Training cohorts.
