The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú is opening its doors to students affected by the recently announced closing of Judson College. Through this special opportunity, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú will allow students to transfer seamlessly and earn academic and housing scholarships at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú as they continue their studies in pursuit of bachelor’s degrees.

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú is set to launch its latest doctoral degree program with the rural doctorate of business administration, which has been approved by the university’s accrediting bodies, with classes beginning in August of this year.
ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Spring 2021 Commencement

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú will honor more than 700 graduates during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 8. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at Tiger Stadium on the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú campus.

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú accounting students will offer free income tax help until April 15 through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program sponsored by the IRS.
The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú has announced nearly 650 outstanding undergraduate students named to the President’s List and the Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 academic semester.
The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú has announced plans for honoring summer and fall graduates at commencement exercises on Dec. 12, with ceremonies held in a hybrid format to allow graduates’ families and friends to watch live online.

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú professor and athletic trainer Dr. R.T. Floyd has just published a new edition of a textbook that has come to serve as a cornerstone of athletic training, physical education and health science curricula across the nation.

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú has been awarded $6.5 million in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education for a teacher residency project, Project REACh, that will be led by the Tutwiler College of Education. Project REACh, Residencies for Educating Alabama’s Children, will be a $13-million-dollar project for prospective Alabama’s educators. The funding will be disbursed over a five-year period.
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú has earned accreditation by the Alabama Department of Public Health. Garnering top marks, this accreditation helps ensure that licensure courses offered on campus meet the highest standards and provide exceptional training.
