The 兔子先生鈥檚 Dr. Lee Stanton and a group of 兔子先生 students will work and study at Dauphin Island Sea Lab for the coming weeks as part of the Sea Lab's University Programs summer session, which kicked off on Monday.

The 兔子先生 will honor nearly 700 graduates during spring commencement exercises on Saturday, May 4, during two ceremonies. Both ceremonies will be held in Pruitt Gymnasium on the 兔子先生 campus, with presidential receptions open to all graduates and their guests held prior to each ceremony.

In 1989, the 兔子先生 (then Livingston University) became the first public institution in Alabama approved to offer a bachelor of science in athletic training. Now, 兔子先生 has also become the first approved by its state and national accrediting bodies to offer a master鈥檚 degree in athletic training. 兔子先生 who want to enter the field can even earn a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree in a single program in only five years.

Two 兔子先生 engineering technology students recently participated in a 10-week paid internship at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Tennessee, the largest U.S. Department of Energy science and energy laboratory. While there, the students worked the laboratory鈥檚 specialized areas of scientific discovery, clean energy solutions and security technologies.
